Junior Accountant

Qualifications:

* A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required to ensure a solid understanding of the principles and practices in financial management.
* A basic knowledge of accounting principles as well as familiarity with journal entries are essential for performing tasks effectively in this role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, is crucial, as it allows for better data analysis and reporting capabilities.
* The ability to learn quickly, adapt, and work collaboratively within a diverse team environment is highly valued.
* Demonstrating strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills is important for maintaining accuracy and efficiency in various projects.

Job Responsibilities:

* Record daily accounting entries and financial transactions meticulously to ensure complete accuracy and up-to-date financial oversight.
* Enter financial data systematically into the Zoho Books system, ensuring that all data entries are correct and comprehensive for efficient tracking and reporting.
* Diligently follow up on outstanding invoices, expenses, and both payable and receivable accounts to promote timely payments and maintain financial health.
* Assist in the preparation of detailed monthly financial reports, providing insights and clarity on the company’s financial position to stakeholders.
* Reconcile bank accounts regularly and verify the accuracy of financial records to ensure compliance and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Maintain and organize accounting files and records systematically, making them easily accessible for audits or inquiries when necessary.
* Collaborate closely with the finance team to complete assigned tasks efficiently, fostering a supportive environment for shared success and accountability.
